Al-Maghlouth thanks the leadership for appointing him Deputy Minister of Information with the rank of Excellent
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth expressed his sincere thanks, appreciation and great gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - on the occasion of the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him Deputy Minister of Information with the Excellent Rank.
His Excellency expressed his great pride in this precious royal trust, asking God Almighty to grant him help and success in carrying this responsibility, and to live up to the expectations of the wise leadership, stressing his determination to work with dedication and sincerity to achieve the leadership’s aspirations in developing the media system, and to contribute effectively to highlighting the comprehensive development renaissance that the Kingdom is witnessing under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
A career full of media achievements
The appointment of Dr. Al-Maghlouth to this prestigious position is the culmination of a distinguished professional and academic career in the media and government communications sector. He previously served as Director General of the Government Communication Center and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Media, playing a prominent and pivotal role in establishing and developing unified government communication tools. He is also known for his significant efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he professionally managed daily press conferences, contributing to enhanced transparency and the dissemination of accurate information to the public. Furthermore, he oversaw numerous major national media initiatives and the Hajj season.

This decision is part of the Kingdom's accelerated efforts to empower young, qualified national talent in leadership positions, aiming to expedite transformation across various sectors, most notably the media sector, which is a cornerstone in conveying the Kingdom's message to the world.
