9,000 personnel and 2,000 vehicles to deal with Riyadh's rains

The Secretariat deployed its field teams, supported by more than 9,000 personnel and about 2,149 vehicles and equipment, which were distributed according to precise deployment plans that included the most affected sites, where the teams started a number of sites at the time to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of road users.
Comprehensive field treatment
The work included operating water drainage equipment and addressing water accumulation sites, in addition to monitoring and enhancing the readiness of stormwater drainage networks, ensuring smooth traffic flow in tunnels, bridges, and main roads, and coordinating directly with relevant authorities to support traffic management when needed.
The Municipality continues to receive reports and requests through its "My City" application and the 940 call center, while monitoring rainfall conditions through an integrated operational system, thus supporting rapid response and efficient field operations.
These efforts aim to enhance operational readiness and improve the efficiency of managing rainfall events, supporting the continuity of services in line with the Municipality's vision to be a leading municipality for a prosperous and sustainable Riyadh that improves the quality of life.
