The Minister of Interior is monitoring on the ground the readiness and crowd management plans in the holy sites

During his visit to Mina Emergency Hospital (2), His Highness was briefed on the progress of the health, medical and ambulance services system provided to the pilgrims. He toured a number of medical and ambulance departments, learning about the mechanisms for receiving cases and plans for dealing with reports and critical cases, in addition to the hospital’s operational capacity and the therapeutic and preventive services provided to the pilgrims.

Improving the efficiency of healthcare

The Minister of Interior, who also chairs the Supreme Hajj Committee, received a briefing on the level of integration between medical and ambulance teams and support services, as well as the role of technological systems and modern equipment in supporting rapid response and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare during the Hajj season.
He also reviewed the hospital's operational capacity, which has been increased to 100%, ensuring its full readiness to provide healthcare services to pilgrims.
Furthermore, he examined the preparedness of medical and technical staff and the plans developed to handle various cases according to the highest health standards. He emphasized the great importance that the wise leadership – may God support them – places on providing a comprehensive healthcare system for pilgrims, and the necessity of maintaining the highest levels of integration among relevant authorities to guarantee the continuity of healthcare services throughout the Hajj season.

Services of the Masar Al-Mashaaer Project

In Muzdalifah, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud inspected the services provided as part of the Mashair Route Project, which aims to reduce heat and physical strain, enhance the comfort and movement of pilgrims during Hajj, embody the concept of humanizing the pilgrims, improve services, and develop the infrastructure of the holy sites in line with quality of life objectives.
His Royal Highness, the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, also reviewed the facilities prepared in the pilgrims' rest areas, including protective canopies, green spaces, seating, water fountains, and lighting, as well as organizational solutions that support the smooth flow of crowds and reduce congestion.
He was briefed on the integrated efforts among the relevant authorities to operate and manage the project and the field plans for serving pilgrims in the holy sites.

Organizational and service arrangements

In Arafat, His Royal Highness inspected the organizational and service arrangements in the courtyards of the Namira Mosque. He reviewed the preparations for implementing crowd management plans, regulating pedestrian traffic, and providing services to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and ensure their safety during the Dhuhr and Asr prayers.
The Minister of Interior, who also chairs the Supreme Hajj Committee, visited Mount Arafat (Jabal al-Rahma), where he reviewed the progress of field preparations and ongoing arrangements for implementing security, organizational, and service plans to ensure the safety of the large numbers of pilgrims on the Day of Arafat and provide them with necessary services.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz also reviewed the preparations underway for implementing Hajj security plans in the holy sites to enhance the flow of movement and maintain the safety of pilgrims in high-density areas.
He was also briefed on the coordination mechanisms between security, service, and health agencies to improve the efficiency of field operations and achieve shared objectives.

Doubling field efforts

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud emphasized the importance of integration among the various participating entities, redoubling field efforts, and continuing to develop high-quality initiatives and services provided to pilgrims, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership – may God support them – aimed at harnessing all capabilities to serve pilgrims and enhance their safety and comfort during the Hajj season.
His Highness was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, and a number of ministers and senior officials.
