New US talks to end the Ukraine war are coming weeks

Following a meeting in Florida between Kyiv's envoy Rustam Umarov and representatives of US President Donald Trump, he said, "We are coordinating the necessary visit schedule and expect representatives of the US president to arrive at the end of spring and summer."
He added on social media, "We hope that this time we will be able to achieve what was planned and activate diplomatic efforts."
Direct talks between Kyiv and Moscow
The United States has mediated several rounds of direct talks between Kyiv and Moscow in an attempt to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which began in 2022.
