Photos | Interior Minister inaugurates the Digital Center for Security Operations in Jeddah

His Highness listened to an explanation from the Commander of the National Center for Security Operations, Brigadier General Omar bin Ayda Al-Talhi, about the tasks of the digital center and its role within the strategic plan of the National Center for Security Operations, and the operational and technical capabilities it provides that contribute to enhancing the speed of response and raising the efficiency of dealing with emergency cases.
Handling emergency reports
He explained that the Digital Security Operations Center supports the receipt and processing of emergency reports and field follow-up in the Makkah region, contributing to a rapid response to emergencies. It also facilitates support, coordination, and information exchange among relevant authorities, thereby enhancing the quality of security services provided.
Brigadier General Al-Talhi emphasized that the center dedicates exceptional resources to serving pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques. Equipped with advanced technological systems and multilingual translators, it ensures swift response to reports from Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, addresses their urgent needs, and provides a comprehensive security umbrella that guarantees they can perform their rituals and acts of worship with peace of mind and ease, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to enrich the religious and cultural experience of the guests of God.
Improving performance efficiency
His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior reviewed the performance indicators and heat maps that contribute to decision-making. He also reviewed the workflow within the center, which operates within an integrated system aimed at improving performance efficiency and enhancing cooperation among relevant entities.
The inauguration was attended by Assistant Minister of Interior Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, and Director General of the Minister of Interior's Office for Studies and Research, Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arwan.
