وجرى خلال الاستقبال استعراض علاقات التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين الصديقين، إضافة إلى مناقشة مجريات الأوضاع في المنطقة وتداعياتها على الأمن الإقليمي والاقتصاد العالمي.
حضر الاستقبال، وكيل الوزارة للشؤون السياسية الدكتور سعود الساطي، ومدير عام الإدارة العامة للدول الآسيوية ناصر آل غنوم.
