The 60-day period for appealing violations in the transport sector has begun

Announced Public Transport AuthorityAllowing the submission of objections and grievances regarding violations issued before November 1, 2024, for a period of sixty days, in implementation of the generous royal decree and to facilitate the beneficiaries in settling their situations.
She explained that this procedure pertains to decisions that are considered by the Board of Grievances and which the violators have not previously objected to before government agencies within the legally specified periods.

Receiving appeals

The General Transport Authority indicated that it has already begun receiving appeals covered by the decision through its official channels starting from the first of May 2026.

indicated that opening the appeals process aims to enable establishments and violators to benefit from the royal directives and grant them an exceptional period to address outstanding violations.
It urged beneficiaries to submit their applications digitally by visiting its official website and directly accessing the "Appeals Against Violations" service to ensure swift processing.
The authority also noted that establishments can inquire and obtain further details by contacting its call center at 19929.
