The Meteorology Department forecasts thunderstorms and dust-raising winds across parts of the Kingdom


While light snowfall is not ruled out on parts of the Tabuk region's highlands (Al-Lawz, Al-Aqan, Al-Dahr).

Sea state
In the Red Sea, surface winds will be northerly to northwesterly in the northern part and southeasterly to southerly in the central and southern parts, with speeds of 15-33 km/h, gusting to over 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorms and rain.
Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, and may exceed two meters with the formation of thunderstorms and rain. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate, becoming rough with the formation of thunderstorms and rain.
Arabian Gulf
In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds are southeasterly to southerly at a speed of 16-35 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds. Wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching more than two meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds. The sea state is slight to moderate, reaching rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
